This document includes everything there is to know when teaching grade 6. It includes the end-of-cycle outcomes, evaluation criteria and evaluation grid for each competency. It also presents in detail the Essential Knowledge section of the ESL programs, as presented in the Progression of Learning. Therefore, you can quickly see, for each category, what you should expect from grade 6 students in terms of: knowledge they must reinvest, knowledge they must apply by the end of the school year, and knowledge they are still constructing with your guidance at this stage of their development.
