Elles nous aident \u00e0 donner un sens au monde qui nous entoure. D\u2019ailleurs, Adam et Victor (1993) avancent que la vision repr\u00e9sente la plus importante source d\u2019information sur le monde. Sadoski et Paivio (2001) ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 le r\u00f4le crucial de la visualisation dans la lecture et il para\u00eet raisonnable de penser qu\u2019il en va de m\u00eame pour le d\u00e9veloppement de la pens\u00e9e math\u00e9matique.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve s\u2019engage cognitivement dans l\u2019activit\u00e9 math\u00e9matique ou y participe activement lorsqu\u2019il communique en appuyant ses propos \u00e0 l\u2019aide de modes de repr\u00e9sentation ou en les combinant pour expliciter sa pens\u00e9e math\u00e9matique. De nombreuses ressources visuelles permettent d\u2019installer des routines en classe.\u00a0 Ces routines encouragent l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper la confiance en ses id\u00e9es math\u00e9matiques et contribuent au d\u00e9veloppement de ses comp\u00e9tences en num\u00e9ratie.\u00a0 En devenant l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment d\u00e9clencheur de la routine, l\u2019image invite \u00e0 la causerie.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>S\u00e9quence en 3 temps<\/h4>\n<p>Les images propos\u00e9es aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves lors des routines peuvent \u00eatre l\u2019occasion d\u2019\u00e9mettre simplement des id\u00e9es ou des observations math\u00e9matiques.\u00a0 \u00c0 l\u2019occasion, il est possible d\u2019animer une r\u00e9elle s\u00e9quence qui pourrait se vivre en trois temps.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Les id\u00e9es math\u00e9matiques \u00e9mises par les \u00e9l\u00e8ves pourraient \u00eatre prises en note dans un r\u00e9pertoire personnel ou ajout\u00e9es \u00e0 un aide-m\u00e9moire de classe pour en conserver la richesse. Ainsi, se d\u00e9veloppe une r\u00e9elle culture du partage o\u00f9 les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e9mettent leurs id\u00e9es math\u00e9matiques avec confiance et cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img
